There are four main problems to combat in kidney damage, edema, oliguria, and anuria, anemia and fourthly, convulsions. The four main causes of edema are listed, and these all need evaluating in a given case, and corrected. One of the causes of edema is increased permeability of the capillaries which is caused by toxins from the disease itself. Homeopathy can help in combating the toxins and the most suitable drugs are listed, e.g. Apis mellifica, Cuprum arsenicosum, Mercurius corrosivus.
