| Abstract |
|
Cortisone,
mercurious corrossivus (a homeopathic drug) and aqueous leaf
extract of V. vinifera were used for controlling nephrotoxicosis
caused by citrinin in mice. These drugs were administered
to toxin treated mice regularly for 20 weeks. Analysis of
blood as well as histo-pathological examination of kidney
revealed that leaf extracts and mercurious corrossivus had
significant positive effect. Up to 41% recovery was achieved
through leaf extract.
