Description

        It is a common creeping troublesome weed spreading more in rainy season. It is found all over India. It has two varieties i.e. white flowered & red flowered. In Homoeopathy white flowered variety in mainly used. It is called Punarnava due to its quality of renovation from the almost old dead root in subsequent season.

       It has been used most successfully in dropsical affections.

Homoeopathic uses

        It is a rejuvenator for kidney functions.

       This drug has proved to be effective in dropsical affections originating from impaired renal function especially with hypertension. Scanty urine.
