three clinical cases of the same family have been presented
showing effect of Heridity. Each case had more than one etiological
factors e.g respiratory ii)gastro iii)Nervous and it also
proves that cases of Astma can only be cured only if one succeeded
in removing one miasmatic underline condition with a deep

HOMEOPATHY |
|
| Abstract |
|
Asthma
is characterized by a disturbance of breathing rhythm. The
disturbance is marked by airways obstruction with usually
greater relative obstruction of out breathing with a prolongation
of the expiratory phase. There is a well established tendency
for asthmatic attacks to come on in the early hours of the
morning. The homoeopathic material medica specifies different
remedies for different hours ie Nat. Sulph; Kali carb; etc.
This paper reveals that to treat asthma successfully one must
have absolute confidence in the treatment that one uses, and
that one should use a new treatment whilst it still works.
The danger of this approach lies in the consequence that the
anxiety ridden sufferer is most dependent on the physician
and treatment.

| Abstract |
|
Twenty-seven
homoeopathic remedies are listed, with their symptoms relating
to asthma. Periodicity and special hours are sometimes very
important in selecting the remedy for asthma attacks. Important
remedies for children are Chamomilla, Ipecuanha, Natrum sulphuricum,
Pulsatilla and Sambuccus. Past history including vaccinations
must be taken into account and prescribed for usually with
a nosode or Thuja. Position during an acute attack can help
indicate which remedy to use. Eleven remedies are also given
under 'Hahnemann's chronic remedies of constitutions'. Senega
is described as having helped old people with great accumulation
of mucus.

|
| Abstract |
|
Blatta
orientalis was found accidentally to relieve asthma and has
since been proved to have a wide range in asthmatic cases.
It is especially suited to corpulent people, and to malarial
cases, and cases worse in rainy weather.

Mephitis
(skunk) was given to a woman who could hardly get her breath
and this helped her. Mephitis has been partly proved in 30th
potency and caused distressing irritation of the throat, choking
while drinking and talking and stinging and blurring of the
eyes.
