| Abstract |
|
The
author practices in Jerusalem where allergies are frequent.
She avoids prolonged use of conventional asthma drugs, especially
B2 agonists. She uses allergy avoidance, dietary restrictions
such as no chocolate or red colorants and sometimes cow's milk,
physiotherapy to aid movement of bronchial mucus, clearing out
of the nasal cavities and homoeopathy. She finds that homoeopathic
drugs are much more effective in respiratory disease than conventional
medicines. She prescribes on physical and etiological symptoms.
She prescribes Ipecuanha 7CH most frequently, which permits
rapid reduction in dosage of B2 agonists. In a double-blind
study it was shown that immediately after taking Ipecuanha 7CH
there is usually a small bronchiospasm detected by functional
respiratory tests.

This
is not at all harmful and can be explained in 2 ways, whereas
some conventional drugs are beneficial to start with but later
provoke a bronchial constriction with a not negligible risk
of death.
