| Abstract |
|
Endogenous
(specific) and exogenous (non-specific) factors for the cause
of asthma are given. The endogenous factors are referred to
the Organon Para 78 on chronic disease. The exogenous factors
are referred to the Organon Paras 81, 74 and 77, on allergies
and environmental causes. In latent psora the person appears
to be in good health. The first manifestations of psora in
the newborn are eczema, allergic erythema etc. and later urticaria,
neurodermatitis etc. The next stage is the change from cutaneous
to respiratory allergies such as asthma. This is illustrated
by a case report. A 48-year old patient had asthma, nasal
polyps and allergy to aspirin, housedust and pollen. She was
prescribed Actea racemosa, Salicylic acidum (because of the
aspirin allergy), Sambuccus and Arsenicum album. A year later
the patient no longer had asthma attacks, and she was still
taking only Salicylic acidum and far less inhaled corticosteroid
than previously.
