R&D

collection of relevant books and periodicals and an Information Centre which
provides many services as well as on-line response to queries. The Centre
publishes value added Current Awareness Periodicals, besides providing services
to the In House staff as well as to academia and industry from within the
country
The inception of this Library and Information Centre dates back to 1979 when
a small library was set up with a small collection of about five hundred
Publications to start with the Library was set up to primarily to meet the
information needs of the Research Staff of the Council. With the passage of
time, the library grew at a fast pace, and, in order to cater to the ever
increasing R&D information needs of the professionals, it systematically and
gradually grew as a collection of specialized reading materials such as books,
periodicals, reference works, serials in the areas of Homoeopathic Research and
Drugs & Pharmaceuticals. The wealth of this highly specialized library now began
to draw the attention of the academic and R&D workers of other institutions in
the city like Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College, B.R.Sur Homoeopathic Medical
College etc. and outside the city from Homoeopathic Medical Collleges and
research scholars.
